If you are like me you're probably wondering whether to buy a Sony or get an iPod. Go for the Sony!
Put a Nano and the Walkman side by side, and the Nano wins on sleek styling. The Sony is however a very nice piece of kit.
I prefer the proper push button controls of the Walkman compared to the Nano. You can use your Walkman when you are travelling by train, plane and car. Sony Walkman's are much easier to use on the move especially with the volume control which is easy to adjust even when its in its case in your pocket. The battery life on Walkman is excellent (around 24hrs)
The Sony sounds much better than the iPod! This is due to the`in-ear' headphones that Sony supply. Note that some Sonys come with wireless headphones which may be more convenient but they lose sound quality in the process.
Sony is worth investing in for the video quality which is comparable to the iPod classic.
The Sony Walkman focuses on quality and has superior video quality. It's failing however is in the Sonic Stage software.

Summary: Brilliant piece of kit!
