I have put off buying one of these for years because of poor reviews that I have read. However, with nothing else to truly match what it offers I bit the bullet and bought one last week. What can I say??? I love music, and this little piece of equipment is awesome!! Maybe it doesn't work as spectacularly for classical music (I don't know), but for the likes of Led Zeppelin, Porcupine Tree, Enigma, Epica, Pendulum etc. it finds instruments that I didn't know existed. The clarity is absolutely second to none, and there is no distortion whatsoever at any volume. Those people who have written poor reviews are either exceptionally difficult to please, or work for the opposition. It is true that there are no sound options to play with, but trust me, you don't need them. The complicated technical bits inside "decide" how the sound should be, and it is faultless every time. PS I don't work for Bose, but if I did I'd have one in every room of the house!
