This radio was my partners initially, but obviously when we moved in together and pooled all our belongings it became part of the household items. He can't remember how much he paid for it, or when he bought it, lets just say I won't be introducing him to Dooyoo anytime soon....

Anyway, I've done my own research, and the radio sells for around £80 - £100 online which is quite surprising as this is quite expensive for what it is. The radio now lives in the kitchen, and occasionally travels around the house when we are decorating or doing DIY. I love the look of this radio, it's really stylish and quite modern looking but without losing the traditional radio vibe. Ours is silver/grey with blue protector on the speakers. Searching online they seem to come in a few different colour combinations, with the foam speaker covers being green, blue or grey.

The radio is sturdy, but also compact enough to move around from room to room. It has a bit of a gap at the back of the radio near the top, which is ideal for slotting your fingers into to carry it round. The lead is an ok length, although personally there are times I wish it was a little longer. It also has battery backup, but we've always plugged it in and fortunately have never needed the battery backup.

The radio is a DAB radio, making the sound quality much clearer than traditional radios. We've used this in lots of rooms in a couple of houses, and it's never failed to pick up a signal. The screen on the front of the radio tells you which channel you're listening to, which is quite useful if you're trying to find a certain radio station and you're not sure whether you've got the right one.

One unusual feature of this radio is that you can rewind for up to ten minutes. I guess this could potentially be useful if you were listening to something and had to leave the room, or if you wanted to hear a song or competition entry details or something like that. Personally, however, I can honestly say I've never used this feature. Radio for me is something I just tend to stick on in the background, so I couldn't ever imagine myself needing to rewind.

The radio has up to 24 preset options for choosing your favourite radio stations, which is more than most people would ever need! In our household, we tend to just listen to one or two so we just turn the radio on and it remembers the last channel we've listened to. As we only have it on for background music we haven't bothered setting lots of different preset stations.

Overall, I would say this is a really good quality radio, but it's very expensive for what it is. I would recommend doing some shopping round for a cheaper version if this is out of budget.
