This clock radio has no volume control for the alarm. It starts out softly and gradually gets louder until volume setting 17 which is much too loud for a quiet bedroom. There is no way of turning the radio softer once it has finished its crescendo. The radio also always turns on at volume 17 regardless of the volume it was at when turned off. If I had known this beforehand I would not have bought it.
