Although the 1XT has been around for a few years now, it is still in an excellent little DAB digital radio. I have the cherry red version, which looks great - very modern. The LCD screen is clear to read, looks great and bright, and is adjustable too. Setup is as easy as turning on and pressing autotune. The reception of this unit is also very impressive - I've used it in several homes where DAB reception was weak, and picked up all the stations I expected, and many more. Operation of the radio is easy, with the jog dial system to get through menus and station lists. Sound quality is great, especially considering the speaker size. There's also a line out port for connection to a hi fi system, which is a useful touch. The unit feels built to last, the buttons and dials have a nice solid feel to them.

Summary: An excellent little radio, with intuitive controls.
