Advantages: Definitely the price
Disadvantages: Some of the buttons are hard to press
I bought this clock because mine had broke. I didn't want to spend much as I only need a basic alarm.
Whilst shopping in Tesco I spotted this one and at £6 I grabbed it (£4.97 at time of writing- Tesco.com).
Boxed in the usual Tesco Value plain packaging it's easy to see on the shelf. The information leaflet is in side and tells us how to use it.
The clock itself is round and in black with silver round buttons on the top, with a large snooze button that stands out!! The clock radio has a large red LCD display, analog radio/bleeping alarm and snooze functions. At only 12cm wide it's neat. The clock is mains powered with a lead that's too short. The aerial is a wire.
It's easy enough to set up but I don't bother with the radio, it takes ages to find a station and can be temperamental- the sound quality isn't great. I stick to the loud enough and annoying bleeping alarm.
I find some of the buttons need a good push to work, the auto/on/off switch on the side needs fiddling with to set in just the right place or it won't stay on (that maybe a problem with my particular clock though). Once in the right spot it seems reliable- it's never not gone off. The snooze button once pressed will reawaken me every 10 minutes (I think it's 10!) and has so far has come back on.
I like the clock it's been reliable, though a pain to have to fiddle about with the auto/on/off button, but like I say maybe that's just a problem with mine.
Summary: Great if you want a basic alarm that wakes you up
