... it comes to batteries, I have so many gadgets in my possession that I go through the little buggers at a rate of knots. From an ecological perspective, I would always advocate using NiMH (nickel metal hydroxide) rechargeables which are much better for the environment (and I use those when I can) - yet Poundland s current offer of six Kodak Supralife AA batteries for a quid is definitely worth taking a look at.... Uniross RB102746 ... got these batteries in a package along with a charger and I ve found them to be really good. I mainly use the batteries in my Nintendo Wii controllers and they last quite a long time. They don t seem to last quite as long lately, although that may be because I now have the wiimotion+ in my wiimotes and I believe they use a bit more power.... I cannot really comment on the charging speed etc as that would be individual to the charging unit being used. The batteries seem to be well made, I have also got some 7-day shop rechargeable batteries but they never seemed to charge right and they only lasted a very short time in my torch, I expect that they may have been fault... Price You can buy these from Amazon for cheapest £7.05 I got them for £10 from B&Q and I got a charger as well. Life I recommend fully charging these for first time use. I put them on for a day. From the full charge I managed to get a week use out of them. I use them in my Xbox 360 Controllers which are used by me and my brothers so they were on for most of the week. Charge While using the official charger for this product it takes around 6 hours to charge fully (Overnight). Sumnique AC/USB Adapter Charger ... it seems as I d be the only person left on earth that is using a normal MP3 Player and not an IPod. I actually really like my MP3 player, it s with 1GB big enough, easy to use and looks quite nice too. The only thing that always made me say now I ll buy an IPod was that I had to charge it via an USB connection - which can be quite hard when you are stuck in the middle of Laos with no public computer available; I spend ages asking at receptions, in restaurants and at airports asking if they have a free USB port for me.
