So I know a lot of people think it's a bit cheap that when you buy your kindle you don't get a charger with it. And yes you can charge your kindle with the usb cable that comes with it via your computer, which does work. But realistically it works if you have bought a Kindle, Kindle Touch or paperwhite. The Kindle Fire is Amazon's tablet which is not supplied with a plug but just a USB cable. You can use the cable to recharge via a USB charger, but it takes quite a long time, overnight as a minimum. This plug, which is designed to speed things up has to be bought separately and it costs £17.99. This is undoubtedly a lot of money for what is essentially a black shiny plug - but is it any good?
