I brought my MP3 player a few years ago, and I was shocked that there wasn't a charger in the pack! Like all other major brands my MP3 player comes without a charger and the only way to charge it is to plug it in the computer. This means to charge your MP3 player you have to have your computer running. So without a doubt you will need a charger. This charger charges your MP3 faster than the computer can. Although as you can see the Charger is very expensive and there isn't a need for all the adapters for different countries.
