      Batteries that last the longest

A couple of days before last Christmas as I was doing the last of my wrapping, I realised that we needed some C batteries for a Nerf gun we had got for Lauren (her dad really) and we didn't have any in the house so off I went to Tescos to pick some up.

The batteries are widely available in most supermarkets and shops and available in four different pack sizes, 2, 4, 6 and 8, with a price range of around £3 - £10 depending on what size you buy. I picked mine up from Tesco Express where they only had the smaller packs in and at the time, there was a promotion running of buy one get one free.

The batteries come attached to a piece of card and each battery is secured singularly into place which I like as when I remove one, the other stays in place. The packaging follows the black and gold colour theme used by Duracell and in the top corner is an image of the pink Duracell Bunny (which is remember as a young child and he is still going now). Each battery measures just a few inches tall and they are quite fat and chunky, these are glossy black in colour and topped with a gold rim around the top.
At either end of the battery is either a plus or minus sign to indicate which way the battery needs to go in (I am ashamed to say that it wasn't until a few years ago I realised this was the case). Unlike some of the other Duracell batteries, these don't have a power indicator running along the side but to be honest, I have never used these, particularly when it comes to Laurens toy as most of the battery compartments are secured into place with a screw, plus with this being a brand I can trust, if things stop working, I just assume the battery has ran out.
Lauren has an Elefun which takes the same batteries, I have tried cheaper ones in the past and unfortunately, they weren't even powerful enough to blow the butterflies up into the air. I have tried them with these and it works perfectly and for a long time too.

I would definitely recommend these batteries, they are long lasting, powerful and a decent price so they get 5 out of 5 stars from me.
      Thanks for reading.
