Advantages: Last ages compared to competition

Disadvantages: Expensive

Energizer have certainly been the leaders of the battery in my opinion for years. They have a range of different batteries but recently their AA lithium have been my battery of choice. The batteries are aimed at the gadget user end of the market with most people who have written about these batteries stating that they are perfect for use with digital cameras, which I would have to agree with. A digital camera tends to destroy batteries in no time at all. Whilst I now use and recommend rechargeable batteries they can be annoying as I always forget to charge and at least with energizer lithium I know they will work as soon as I use them. I tend to keep two of these batteries in the case/around the home for use if the rechargeable ones die/I forget to charge them.

The batteries will last in my camera for a good week of heavy use which I was surprised about as other batteries only would do around 5 days. However I also use the batteries in my Nitro RC car transmitter and they work great (and this is something you definitely do not want running out or else the car will crash causing hideously expensive repairs).

The batteries are packaged the same was as all tradition AA batteries but Energizer have redesigned the packaging to have a cool blue look which I like.

The batteries are fairly expensive at around £3/4 for 2 however the reliability make them worth their money I suppose.
