Microsoft Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit

Advantages: Easy, Convenient, Cheap, Quality
My Xbox kit was not full without something to improve my controller. The fact that the controller ran on batteries was never to my liking, so my brother suggested I bought the play and charge kit, which is very useful. It is used to charge the controller, through charging a pack that simply fits into the back the same way as the ordinary battery back does. It is made for use with the wireless controller
The chargeable battery pack weighs a bit more than the standard battery one, but it is well worth the buy. It will give more than 30 hours of play per charge. When you bring up the Xbox 360 dashboard, it will show at the very top to the left a gauge as to how much battery is left in your controller. That way, you know when to recharge it. Another warning it gives well in advance, is the flashing lights on the controller. The four lights appear to flash in a circle to notify you that it needs charging. This can actually go on for days without me charging it, so it gives you plenty of warning.
It is really easy to use. The kit comes with the chargeable battery pack and the charge cable. The cable has a USB fitting on one end, which is convenient as it can simply fit into the front of your Xbox 360 just under one of the flaps, where two USB ports lie. You can let it charge whilst you are playing a game, as long as you aren't sitting too far away. If not, plug it in before you switch off your console, and as soon as the light on the charge cable fitting comes on as red, this means it is charging, and you can switch off the power on your Xbox 360. There will still be some power running through it to charge the controller. A green light will signify that it is fully charged. You will then be able to use it for around 30 hours without having to re-charge again. The fitting at the end of the charge cable slots into the top of your controller in the wide hole. The wire of the charge cable is thick and well built, so should not break. I leave mine plugged into the USB socket at the front of my Xbox 360, so that I can easily charge the controller whenever I want.
This is sold for just £14.99 at most electronic shops including: Game, Dixons, Virgin Megastores, Computer Exchange, Gamestop, Game Station and more. This is also sold on Amazon.co.uk for just £12.98.
For what you pay, I think this product is well worth it. It works out cheaper in the long run, because batteries are quite expensive and it uses very little power to charge, and it can charge whilst playing on the Xbox 360 anyway. It is very convenient; perhaps one of the best buys for the Xbox 360, as long as you have the wireless controller.
Thanks for reading, rating and comments are much appreciated.
