If you have an xbox 360 with wireless controllers, you will probably understand the hassle and expense of batteries. I used to go through so many batteries, especially with my other half being a big gamer, I was spending so much on them, that I decided to get a play and charge kit. At the time I bought it, it was about £10 but you can get them cheaper than that now in some gaming stores and on Amazon.co.uk.

The play and charge kit is basically a battery pack that replaces the disposable batteries in the wireless controller, and you also get a cable that plugs into the USB port on the Xbox 360 and you plug the other end into the 360 wireless controller and this charges the battery pack, as you continue to play, so you can forever have battery life for your controller without having to disturb your gaming.

The play and charge kit is really simple to use, and has saved me mega hassles and costs in batteries, especially seeing as we have two controllers. The controller will let you know when the battery is running low, then you just plug in the cable and continue playing, simple. The battery pack charges quite quickly and the charge lasts for a good few days of hardcore gaming before you need to charge again.

I love the fact this is such a simple idea, yet such a brilliant one at the same time. Whoever thought of this was a very clever person, and anyone can use it, there is no difficulty to it what so ever, just plug in, and play away. Only downside to it is now I have an even harder time getting my boyfriend off the xbox 360!

If you have wireless controllers, it is really worth buying some of these as it really will save you money, hassle and time and without extra batteries to throw into the landfill, it is good for the environment too.
