Advantages: No problem powering most things

Disadvantages: Not all that good for digital cameras; Expensive when they're not on special offer

When I needed some batteries ages ago I had to go to the expensive shop by us for some because I needed them in a bit of a rush. The only batteries he had in were some mega cheapo ones that should have been in the pound shop but he was charging £3.99, and then he'd got packs of these 12 Philips Power Life batteries for £8.99. Disgusting rip off but there you go!

They are AA batteries so would fit most things, I mean there's not a lot I can say about the size because they're pretty standard and you either need them or you don't!

I've used them in a few things and they've been fine, they're not all that good in my digital camera and I noticed they didn't last half as long as the brand new rechargeable batteries I've been using for the past couple of weeks. They was fine for a day out but I made sure I took extras and it was a good job I did because the batteries died an hour before we was due to come home and I'd have missed some cracking snaps if I hadn't taken spares with me. I noticed that once the low battery light came on the batteries were quick to die as well and that was annoying.

The other stuff I've used these batteries in have been loads better, I put 2 in my bedroom clock the day I bought them and the clock is still going strong even though it drains the batteries I usually put in it from Poundland. None of them have died actually apart from the ones I put in the camera, that's not bad because a couple went into a toy of my little sisters that plays loud music and they're still working..... that one usually EATS batteries as well!

Recommended..... decent for anything except days out with a digital camera, don't pay mad prices for them like I did though!
