Phil & Teds Sport ... I had my second son my first son was about 2 and 3 months, so I thought I could get away without having a double pushchair. Unfortunately (or fortunately!) my older son decided he didn t want to walk everywhere, and I found it difficult carrying my younger son all the time. So I started looking around for a double pushchair. Shock horror - they were huge! There was nothing "pretty" about them, nothing nice to be honest! They were monsters. Then I found the Phil and Ted. Maclaren Triumph ... has been a great "second" buggy for when I am only taking one of my girls out for a short trip. The benefits are that it is easliy collapisble, is SO lightweight that it really makes it easy for you to get your child out and about, it has a handy pocket in the back of the hood that you can put your purse or keys in while out and about, and it is easy to open. I would say that for short trips down to the shops or when you have an awake baby on a short journey this is perfect. The disadvantages are that it does not look like the most comfortable option (it does recline to allow child to sleep, although it has thin material so feels like they might be laying... Mamas and Papas Aria Twin Pushchair ... bought this buggy as our second buggy when we had two girls - niether of which could walk yet. We were tempted to buy a second one as the first Phil n Teds was one in front of the other, and we thought our baby could benefit from also being able to see as much as our elder daughter once she started getting more interested in her surroundings. This buggy is side by side, but is still reasonably quite lightweight and still only 76cm wide. The pros: Still fits in to most door ways, is quite easy to collapse, gives them both a good view of their surroundings, has a MASSIVE shipping basket and it comes with the sun hood.
