My Buggy Buddy Clip
by k2705 Anyone who has ever gone shopping what a buggy with know how difficult it is balancing bags without making the buggy unstable. With Jayden being very young he has the buggy seat laid flat and this makes getting anything in the shopping basket underneath his seat difficult so when I walk into town I usually end up like a pack horse laden ... down with shopping. That was until I saw another mum with a clip on the handle of the buggy, after a quick search online I came across the Buddy Buggy, a simple but very useful little gadget. The Buddy Buggy comes attached to a card by a small piece of plastic which is easy to snip off. The card shows the outline of a buggy with the clip in use, it also gives the Buddy Buggy website down the side and along the bottom of the card there is a warning about overloading your buggy and causing it to tip over backwards. The middle of the card says " clip it on, clip on your bags, unclip and carry, easy". The Buddy Buggy is available in 3 colours, blue, pink and black, I opted for the black as Jayden's buggy is black. The clip is made fro metal making it strong and has a foam covering where it hangs over the buggy handle, this not only stops it from slipping along the handle but also protects the handle from being marked, its slightly narrower at the top this too helps keep it in place on the handle. The clip has My Buggy Buddy written on the coloured part of the clip. To use the clip is easy, there is a small lever that just pushes in to open the clip, once your bags are in place you release the lever and the clip is secure. I have been really pleased with my Buddy Buggy, it has made shopping so much easier, I like to try to walk into town and back as it gives Jayden a change of scenery and also some exercise for me. The clip has meant I can keep both hands on the buggy handle and I don't have carrier bags hanging from my wrists which after a while gets a bit painful. I usually have at least 3 bags on the clip and this works fine. You could have more than 1 clip on your handle if you prefer to even out your shopping but obviously the more you hang on the buggy the more top heavy it becomes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gadget, its so useful and frees up your hands. Its ideal for shopping or just your handbag, its also handy for a waterproof jacket. If you use a buggy then this may well be a good item for you. They are not expensive, I bought mine from Amazon for less than £5.00 and it was well worth the money. www.mybuggybuddy.co.uk Read the complete review |

My Buggy Buddy Clip
by Whizz11 If you've ever pushed a pushchair and then gone shopping and loaded it down with bags you will know how precarious and heavy the pushchair becomes. Of course, you can put bags in the basket underneath the pushchair but this fills up quite quickly and you need someone else to put your other bags. I used to hang a big bag of shopping from ... the brake bar on the right hand side of my pushchair and this really wasn't ideal. Firstly the whole pushchair would be lopsided so it sort of lent to that side if the bag was really heavy and secondly I was always worried about the brake clip actually snapping off and making the brake useless, it never did but it was always a concern. Then someone suggested a buggy clip to me and I'm really glad they did as its such a simple but effective little clip to deal with situations such as these. The clip is basically just a simple metal clip, much like the ones you use when going rock climbing. It is made of a thick metal and is study but has a little lever on it that moves when you press it in and allows you to hook the loop onto things and then it shuts again, safe and secure and will not open when pulled, only when pressed which is an action you actually need to do and not one it can do my mistake if you know what I mean. You hook the clip onto your pram handle. It hooks on really easily and it was really handy when I had my Bugaboo pram as this handle was one continuos piece of handle and stretched all the way along the pram. You can then hang your shopping bags from this hook and they are evenly hung on your pram and don't weigh it down incorrectly. The hook has a hard foam most of the way around it, apart from the lever opening which means it sits nicely on your pushchair and does not scratch it or mark it in any way. The buggy buddy costs just £5 and is something I definitely recommend if you like to do your shopping when out with your pushchair. Read the complete review |

My Buggy Buddy Clip
by lolasmummy This is a fab product and great for mums around town. I was a bit sceptical as to whether this would be big enough and up to the job and was pleasantly surprised when I received it as it was a lot bigger than I expected and very sturdy. It fitted perfectly on my pram and coz I bought the pink version I was also very colour coordinated!! ... Having a small baby and for the first time in my life not working with no car I found the local shops to be the main place I did my shopping. The basket on my pram is a fair size but wasn't big enough for all the groceries so I thought this may be useful and it is. I can fit several shopping bags onto the clip and it holds the weight easily - the only downside is not overloading the pram by not putting too many bags on it!! Read the complete review |
