Advantages: Modern, comfy
Disadvantages: Small straps, heavy
We purchased this pushchair for our daughter when she was 13 months old after struggling to find one that suited us all.
I wanted a pushchair where the handlebars could be adjusted to suit mine and my husbands height and also one which would allow my baby to face me whilst out and about and this pushchair met my needs.
The bebe confort loola pushchair has a reversible seat unit which is so easy to switch around. It unclasp at each side and then clips in easily once it has been positioned in either forward or rear facing position.
The handles have adjustable height so suited me and my husband very well. The handles also change position either upwards, sidewards, or facing down. So you can choose which is more comfortable for you.
The wheels are swivel or fixed, I kept them on swivel all the time we used it as it makes it so much easier when turning corners.
The shopping basket actually has a big design fault. There are two metal bars which cross over the top of the chopping basket, so anything you wish to put in the basket, you have to squash between the bars to fit it. This was disappointing but once you get used to it it is no longer an issue.
The seat straps I found we're too small for my daughter, they don't adjust much. I got over this issue by just strapping my daughter legs into the pushchair and not her arms. I think if you contact bebe confort they will send out some replacement straps or these are easily found in shops such as mothercare.
The hood on the seat unit is detachable, I found the pushchair looked bare without it on plus it sheltered my baby from the sun well so it stayed on.
The rain cover zips on to the bottom of the hood (the hood is waterproof) you then pull this down and it fastens around the two front wheels. It's really easy to do and a lot smaller than the average rain cover meaning this can be easily stored in the shopping basket, or even left zipped onto the hood as it still folds in neatly.
The seat unit is really very well padded and the covers wash very easily. I always sponge washed these and they came up looking like new every time.
The bumper bar is removable, my baby liked to lean on these whilst out and about. There is a bebe confort logo on the bumper bar which washed off really easily but I didn't find this a problem.
You can buy extras to fit the bebe confort such as a car seat and carrycot. They also sell a matching parasol however I used a standard one and it fit fine.
I sold the pram when my daughter turned 2 as I found it was getting to hard to manoeuvre. The pushchair itself is very heavy which is fine when your child is small but too heavy to push and navigate around when child is bigger.
I would not recommend this pram to be used on public transport as it is just far too heavy to lug around with a child in tow. I had a lightweight stroller which I used when on the bus.
I will most definitely use this pushchair again for my next child it is a fantastic sturdy pushchair.
Summary: A great first time pushchair
