Advantages: Amazing all round
Disadvantages: hard to drive for a novice
I got this pushchair and frame when i had my daughter, she is my first child and i went in blind completely unaware f the world of pushchairs but it was something that i wanted to get crossed off the list so after my twenty week scan my husband and i went out and randomly got this. I am pleased with the choice!!!!!
The pushchair:
Is suitable from birth to 15kg and it feels very secure even with a new born in! It has 4 position recline and it is forward and rear facing, you just take the chair part off and face it whichever way you want, this was good when little as i could make eye contact and also now she is a bit older she can see that there is a whole new world out there!! One of my friends got a pushchair that was just forward facing and replaced it as she thought that there were implications for the bond with her child!!
The strap is very safe, it is a 5 point safety harness, my daughter quickly learnt how to get her arms out of the top but i think that this would be an issue on any chair and if she is old enough to do it she is big enough to be safe just with the bottom straps!
The push chair also has lockable swivel wheels, his is a god send as occasionally I catch the wheel and it changes so they don't swivel and it makes steering a pain. It is hard enough learning to drive one of these things without tat so any help in this department is fab!
Suspension on rear wheels helps for a smoother ride but not too smooth so that the motion allows the child to snooze if that is the plan!
Other helpful parts are the roomy shopping basket and a detachable hood. I also got a rain cover and a integrated parasol holder, i'm not sure if this comes as standard or is an extra but it is really worth it!
It also is free standing when folded so if room is an issue this helps!
It can also be combined with some ar seats to make a travel system if you want.
Only thing is when baby is tiny it is hard to get up and down curbs, think that this is due to the lack of weight but as my daughter got bigger this got easier - o maybe i improved on my driving skills.
You can get a bargain on the web but high street prices are about 150 so not bad for the quality!
