I love my yellow Bugaboo cameleon pram however i don't like the idea of having to buy the added extras these are costly. I have purchased the changing bag, footmuff, cup holder and in summer the matching parasol. You can purchased these extras from Mothercare, John lewis, Ebay, Amazon and direct from Bugaboo. I went to John lewis as it was my nearest store and paid £29.99 for the parasol.
Bugaboo parasol fits the cameleon pram, donkey, and frog models. These come in a huge range of colours to match your pram or pushchair as i have the yellow Bugaboo cameleon i had to buy the yellow one black would have matched also but prefer the brighter colours.
Bugaboo parasol is a basic sunshade that attaches to the pram chassis and goes up like an umbrella for sheltering baby from the harsh sunlight.
The Bugaboo parasol has a flexible arm that can be pulled into position and has a black plastic clamp fitted to the bottom, this attaches to the chassis and can be tightened up to make it secure. Bugaboo parasol when pushed up is big and wide enough to fit over the cot part of the pram, this also has uv protection and although it shelters baby its not dark or dull underneath the parasol. The parasol shade is made from polyester and even shower proof.
Should the Bugaboo parasol get dirty its easy to clean with a damp cloth. I found the Bugaboo parasol easy to attach to the pram it takes a mater of seconds to do and covered up my daughter well on hot days. I took my Bugaboo on holiday and the parasol was a god send , my daughter was the only one comfortable in the heat. I used this all summer and looks brand new. I did need to remove the parasol every time i folded the pram up as its gets in the way and stops the folding process.
If you have a Bugaboo i definitely recommend the parasol shade for the summer months and looks very smart on the pram. I felt comfortable knowing my daughter was shaded from the harmful UV rays.
