When my little girl was just a baby and I had a quinny zapp buggy, I have a universal footmuff that I presumed I could simply use withe the maclaren buggy that I now use for my toddler- this was not the case. I put it on and it started to drive me mad as I was constantly pulling it up, as once I put my little girl into the buggy, the muff slipped down, meaning it was difficult to get the straps to stretch around her. So, after talking to a friend about it she showed me her Buggysnuggle which looked so cute and cuddly and most importantly would fit any buggy without sliding down.

When I went to look for a buggysnuggle online, I got quite a shock at the price with many ranging from well over £30 to £60. I tried ebay but even the second hand ones were being bid up to ridiculous levels. So, I decided just to splash the cash, and I ended up paying £38 for my Buggysnuggle, and I actually got mine on play.com. Despite me having a little girl I didn't want to get something very girly, and wanted one that would do either boy or girl so if we had another child in the future it would be used as well, without looking too girly. THere is quite a wide range of colours and patterns when it comes to Buggysnuggle footmuffs and plainer ones may be marginally cheaper. I didn't want plain black, which was probably the best value, so I opted for a bright bubbles one that matches my maclaren perfectly.

This cosytoes Buggysnuggle is meant to be really warm and comfortable and is made of four layers of 'top quality polar fleece' to ensure your baby is warm during those cold winter months. I also like the fact that this isn't just restricted to use in the cold winter months, as the days warm up in Spring, you can take off the front of the muff and use the base as a liner to the buggy, thus ensuring baby is still comfortable but it is much cooler when the weather is better, so it can be used all year round.

I also like the fact that this Buggysnuggle can be used up to age 3 as it is a very good length with plenty of room. I was a little worried that it was going to trail on the ground when I first put it on the buggy, but it doesn't really do so when my daughter is actually in it and moving her feet around.

When I first got this Buggysnuggle it was very easy to attach to my maclaren. The material goes over the head of the seat meaning it won't slide down and you can also attach it to the metal sides of the buggy with the ties that comes with this muff meaning it will be held in place even more securely. On the front of the muff there is a little pocket, which my little girl likes to put her soft doll or teddy in whilst out and about, and I recently have been using it for her hat and glove to keep them safe when she isn't using them.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My daughter loves the cosiness of this muff and I know it keeps her cosy and warm, in fact on some slightly milder days if she has fallen asleep in the buggy she is toasty when she wakes up. IT fits my maclaren buggy like a glove and even thought it is quite pricey, for the length of time I expect her to get out of it, as well as it being useful all year round, I am very glad I purchased this, and I doubt you would find another footmuff as cute and cuddly as this.

Summary: A lovely warm, cosy footmuff
