I dont want to fault this pram as it was my first and I did love it, however there were a few.
Firstly i went for the grey/black type colour which was perfect for us. Baby was born in a snowy winter and it didnt show dirt from the slush etc. Also i love the spotted detail it had in a few places.
The carseat worked exactly as it should. Only downside would be that awful clicking noise as it attached to the stroller, resulting in an angry baby! Colour was the same as the pram and looked great while it was on it. It also has a handy indictor on the side to let know know if the seat is at the right angle when being used in the car.
The stroller was good and the seat part was comfy. Reclined 5 positions and baby fell asleep in it happily also. There is a bar across the front of the stroller which i think you are able to attach a tray to. This would be great for little snacks and drinks etc, or even reading books.(in a babys case looking at the pictures!) it was also great to attach pram toys, which we had plenty of.
The hood of the stroller had a handy locking mechanism, you could either have it folded back, or over baby. There was also a little window in the back of it so you could see baby and vice versa.
There was (i say was) a footrest on the stroller. This unfortunately eventually snapped from being folded alot so we had to cut it off, luckily our child couldn't reach it yet so when he did we just bought a new one.
The handles were strong and sturdy but sadly couldnt say the same for the covering foam which tore in several places. With alot of weight (bags, coats etc) on the handles they would tilt in, causing the wheels to go a bit funny.
The pram also had a bit of a squeak to it (soon sorted after oiling the wheels and there abouts).
The break on this pram was very strong and kept it well in place. The storage basked underneath was great fir a day out as it fitted loads into it.
This pram only lasted us around 13 months but kept the carseat as it will come in handy as a spare.
I brought this travel system for my son who is now 9 months old and am satisfied that I got my money's worth out of it .I have used it as just a car seat alone and also as a travel system when out and about so I would say it is very versatile. It looks good when the car seat is attached to the pram and the arched handle frames look very nice.It is easy to steer when out and about but one thing is that it is a bit bulky and heavy and I think as a stroller I will probably purchase something a lot lighter. The travel system easily folds down for storage when not in use but opening it up again does take a little effort on my part.A a combined travel system I would recommend it but as a solo buggy i am going to opt for something lighter.
The Graco Mosaic travel system is a pushchair with an attaching baby car seat. It Is suitable from the birth to 3 years. The Mosaic is made from a lightweight aluminium frame and has an umbrella folding mechanism. The car seat clicks in easily to the pushchair and the hood from the pushchair and car seat form a nearly complete canopy over the baby, keeping it draft free and cosy. When removing the car seat a red button is pushed and seat easily removed.
For older babies and toddlers the pushchair can be used on its own, it has a 5 Point safety belt and the pushchair an be reclined until nearly flat for those sleepy toddlers. There is a big shopping basket under pushchair and numerous pockets on the back of the pushchair, great for mobile phone or child's drink. The travel system also includes a rain cover which easily attaches and can be stowed in shopping basket when not in use.
The car seat can either be fitted into a car with a Graco base, sold separately, or can be fitted with the seat belt. As the car seat is slightly bulky I personally found that the seat belt wasn't long enough in some car makes and therefore a base was required, which at £20 is a costly extra.
I have found this travel system very sturdy and excellent for long shopping trips. A buggy boards attaches easily to the back for when kids get tired. However, the so called lightweight frame is pretty heavy and I struggle to carry it. Another slight problem is that when the car seat is attached the shopping basket is not useable as the weight of the seat compacts it to nothing. Apart from a few things I have found the Graco Mosaic travel system a very good buy at £150 and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
The Graco Mosaic Travel System includes the Mosaic One hand fold and the Junior Baby car seat and is suitable from birth to toddler. The Graco Mosaic Travel System is compact, lightweight and folds down with just one hand. The Graco Mosaic pushchair features a comfortable seat pad and multi-position back rest and adjustable calf support. There is also an easy access bumper bar for when you child is a little bigger. With a lightweight aluminium frame and lockable/swivel front wheels the Graco Mosaic Travel System is really manoeuvrable
