Lascal BuggyBoard Maxi
Advantages: Times saving, and saves tired little legs!
Disadvantages: Awkward to put on, sometimes awkward to move around attached to pram
I originally had a double buggy as the age between my two children is two years. That got replaced as after awhile I needed something alot smaller plus my older child wanted and needed to walk more often.Sfter realising how tired my older child was after walking two and from nursery, I realised I had to buy one. The pros to this product are this:
Its a fantastic idea. For those who were thinking about buying a double buggy or someone wanting to get rid of a double buggy this is great. My son really enjoys being on the board and reasonably comfortable. It makes my journey times alot quicker because I dont have to worry about my oldest child walking.
This product also fits the majority of prams out there, but I would still check on their website if yours does just to be on the safe side.
Its easy to clean, but to be fair I dont clean mine that often because it will get dirty obviously.
Its easy to clip off and on when not in use, and doesnt take up too much room if storing somewhere else in the house.
The cons for me were:
I agree with the other reviews. It wasnt difficult to fit, but very fiddly and annoying at times.Took alot longer than what I thought.
The actually bit that is attached to the pram, I had to keep adjusting it as there is these two little squares that you fit between the pram and the attachment, thats supposed to stop them from moving which it didnt.
I found that at times the board and pram togetherv were easy to move around, and then otheres it wasnt, so took getting used to and at times had to adjust the board.
For me I found it uncomfortable, on one of my prams, actually pushing this because I kept clipping my feet on it so needed to either stretch myself more away from it, or simple push the pram while stading at the side of it rather than straight in front of.
The thing that really annoyed me was the fact that it was shown that you could store it on your pram when not in use, which I thought was perfect when my son wanst on it.What I found was a strap that you attached to the board and then to the pram as there was one end with a loop on it. Doesnt work obviously if your pram has only one handle bar, rather than two! Which mine did. So I had to keep takingit off, leaving at nursery or simply talke it off and walk with it.Not ideal.
I bought mine for £40.00, think it could be alittle cheaper considering what it is.
What I would say about item is despite its fault, it has saved me time and sanity which is invaluable so I would buy again, but not at the price I ordiginally paid. It makes my son alot less tired and my journey times quicker so money cant buy that.I do think though you have to get in your mind it might take awhile to get used to for whoevers pushing it and at times awkward, and my need adjusting if and when. And dont forget to check if your pram can have it fitted.
Summary: Would stll buy regardless as it means less stress
