I was brought up on the music of the Beatles. My husband was brought up on the music of the Beatles. On the grainy video footage of my fifth birthday party, sure enough in the background you can hear the Sgt Pepper LP playing while little sprogs eat jelly and ice cream. I think our parents had great taste, which we inherited. Fast forward 25 years and we even decided to call our third son Lennon (If that's not dedication I don't know what is!). Having already had two children I knew a fair bit about different buggys, strollers and entire travel systems. By the time you get to the third you know what you're doing and how not to waste money, you just want a stroller that get's the job done. Enter Maclaren and the amazing "Yellow submarine" buggy. Sold with a reversible liner and printed rain cover. Cosy denim fabric (100% Polyester) foot muff is sold as an accessory. (But sometimes you can buy it in a bundle or on offer) Basic Weight: 5.5kg/ 12.1lb (without hood, shopping basket or raincover) Carrying Capacity: up to 55lbs Appropriate From: three months Recline: Four seat positions Wheel Size: 12.7cm/ 5.0in It's built on a Quest chassis which is fine, not as good as an XT but still reliable and sturdy. It is sunshine yellow and blue denim, so no more boring black, grey or beige buggys for me. Even the raincover is fun with bubbles and a yellow submarine on. As with all Maclarens you have a decent sized shopping basket underneath and it's easily collapsed whilst still holding baby on one arm. Given the choice I really would've loved it to be an XT model but when thats the only negative I can find I think it's safe to say that in buying this buggy you ensure your little one will be the coolest kid in the playground!
