Advantages: Lots
Disadvantages: Expensive
The Maclaren Quest is a lightweight and comfortable pushchair. Providing enough padding to support your baby from 3months. It has reclines using the bars on the side and lifting them and is easy to put up or fold down using your feet if your arms are busy holding baby.
Design of Pushchair:
The design is very simple but works so well. It now comes in different types either Sports or Mod and comes in a wide variety of colours and patterns. There is a small netted basket at the bottom of the pushchair that is perfect to keep the rain cover or umbrellas in. The handle to push it is padded and soft to grip. The harness is easy for an adult to clip in but not so easy for a child to use! There is a small net holder on the back of the hood, perfect for mobile phones, dummies or purses. Toys can easily be attached using the bars on the side and the hood is detachable, perfect if you take it on holiday. The wheels are small but strong and generally all push in the right direction. To fold it down you only have to push a small bar on the side with your foot then lift the central bar at the back again with your foot then drop the handles down. Probably sounds more complicated than it actually is.
Experience:
I have had this pushchair for 3years now. I picked it up from Halfords at the ridiculous price of £50 and it is still going strong today. I have never had any problems with it, it is easy to clean or just wipe down, comfortable for the children and great to take shopping because it doesn't take too much space up in the boot. This really is a wonderful pushchair and I would definitely recommend buying one to anyone with children.
The only bad point I can think of is the price, I couldn't believe how expensive they are but at the same time if they last so long it's worth paying the price. Plus I wouldnt use this from birth or even at 3months, maybe when baby can sit up un-supported, because then they are a little bit stronger and the padding is just right for that.
If your looking for a pushchair then this is the one to buy, an all round winner that can be used anywhere, anytime and on any floor surface from sand to carpet! It is so lightweight you can carry it up stairs if needed very easily and has a handle on the side making it even easier!
Summary: Great pushchair
