I bought the maclaren ryder for my oldest daughter when she was 7 months old and i absolutly loved it. It was sturdy, hardwearing and good looking. It lasted untill my daughter outgrew it at about 3 and a half and still looked good. This pram is so easy to push and steer, i had no problems at all doing so with one hand. My daughter always looked extreamly comfortable in it. The rain cover attatched well and was impossible for my daughter to kick off, which is a godsend when its raining. There is a shopping basket underneath which, compared to some others out there, is fairly roomy. There is also a useful little pocket on the back of the hood which i found handy for keeping spare dummies ect in so they were close to hand. The hood itself is quite large and so does work well at shielding some sun from your little one. Overall this pram comes highly reccomended its hardwearing, longlasting and a comfortable ride for both mum and baby. I loved mine and was very sad to see it go.
I bought this pushchair when my son was 3 months old, and I have used it ever since. My son is now just over 3 years old and does not really need to use a pushchair anymore but on the rare occasions that he does - long shopping trips, days out etc - this pushchair still holds him! It is lovely to push and very easy to fold up. When I first had my son I could not drive so had to rely on public transport to get around, and having this pushchair has been a godsend as it is very light and does not take up much space on buses. It has a handy pocket at the back of the hood, so you do not neccessarily need to take a handbag out with you, along with everything else you need to take with a baby!
The only downside I found is that when the seat is back, you cannot put anything in the basket as it covers the opening, but I wouldn't say it was a major issue.
Overall, a lovely pushchair, has been great for 3 years+ for me!
