Advantages: range of colours, comfy, cheap

Disadvantages: tips!

I'd had the same stroller since my daughter was born as it was part of a travel system. However a few weeks ago the bar that she rests her feet on snapped, and started getting trapped in the wheels. So we decided we needed a new stroller.

My daughter is 2 and very rarely uses her stroller (or should I say, agrees to sit in it) as she likes to walk everywhere. So I didn't want to spend a small fortune on something we needed for rare occasions. We spent £115 from Mothercare which was more expensive than my previous travel system but still not very expensive.

The buggy comes in a range of colours but I bought the pink version (raspberry). It also comes in lilac, blue, black and I think even red depending where you shop. It is lightweight which made it so easy to lift in and out of the boot of my car, and pushing it was so much easier than my old stroller as it is much lighter.

The HUGE problem with this stroller is that it tips very easily - you can't hang so much as a heavy handbag on the handles or it will tip, let alone a changing bag or -gasp- shopping. This is a downfall for me as it means having to carry everything whilst pushing the stroller. I have found it tips quite easily even when nothing is on it, just from going over a bumpy road. My daughter is quite light for her age but she is 2 - I can't imagine how easily it'd tip for a small baby!

The stroller is comfortable to push as it is light, and the handles are a good height for me and for hubby (I am 5'2 he is 5'10) which is something that can be difficult to find. There is a basket underneath the buggy for shopping and a handle for carrying the buggy when it is folded. It folds down quickly and easily and is also surprisingly small when folded - ideal for our hatchback car.

The child is secured with a harness that goes over the shoulders and a strap between the legs. The buckle is stiff so even my curious toddler cannot undo it. The stroller is comfortable and does recline quite a lot, although not enough for a newborn. It is wipe clean only and easy to clean, we haven't really got it grubby yet but it was easy enough to clean dried ice-cream from it!

All in all this is a decent buggy at a decent price - although the tipping does let it down somewhat, we dont use it often so it's not too much of an issue.

Summary: a good buggy!
