Mama & Papas Pipi Stroller
Advantages: Sturdy, easy clean, easy to push
Disadvantages: Handles in the foam that rips
I have had many pushchairs, prams and buggies over my time with my three children so I am very choosey about what I will and won't buy. So when my daughter needed a new pushchair I had a few criteria that it needed to meet.
The first was comfort - it had to be comfortable to sit in. Well I certainly get no complaints from my daughter with the Koochi Pipi. The second was cost - it had to be reasonably priced yet worth the money. Well this buggy is certainly that. It originally cost £99.99 but I managed to get it at the bargain price of £49.99 in the Argos sale. It comes with a cosy toes and a raincover so is well worth the money.
The handle is a very decent height which accomodates both myself and my 6ft 3ins husband. The shopping basket underneath is quite roomy for a buggy of this size and the fold mechanism is very easy to use - one handed is fine with a screaming baby in the other arm!
Unlike some buggies, the brakes on this buggy are in a very good position and actually work!! So when I'm bumping the buggy down steps the brakes don't get stuck on the edge of the step.
The wheels are firm plastic which wear very well, and don't get locked up very easily so the buggy is easy to push even one handed while holding the hand of my 3 year old.
The buggy is lie flat and I put my daughter in it from birth, and she seemed to enjoy the experience.
The handles are covered in the foam type stuff that most buggies these days have which on the one hand makes the handles comfortable to hold, but I have seen many buggies with this type of handle with ripped handles so we will have to see if this happens with this one.
All in all I think this buggy is going to last very well - it cleans up well, looks fab (I have a bright pink one!) and is very sturdy. I would definitely recommend this pushchair.
Summary: Great buggy, would recommend to anyone!
