Advantages: Excellent hood and easy to hang shopping bags off handles

Disadvantages: expensive

I bought one of these second-hand off a friend when I was pregnant with my first baby. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it, as I consider it to be a little pricey for what it is. It's certainly very handy being able to convert it from a pram (baby facing the mother) to a pushchair, so saves you having to buy a pram and a pushchair.

The rain cover is good as it just zips onto the hood, so isn't too bulky to transport. The Pramette is also fairly easy to manoeuvre onto and off kerbs - I didn't have any problems there. The brake's easy to use too.

The fact that it has two handles as opposed to one has its advantages - it means you can easily transport your shopping bags by hanging them off each handle. However, it also means if you're talking on your phone and only have one hand free to push, it's not easy to keep it going in the right direction!

I found the sun shade excellent in the summer, as it clicks right down and covers the whole face easily, which is particularly handy when the baby/child wants to sleep too.

All in all, a good buy but not brilliant value for money.

Summary: Buy it second hand if you can!
