Snuggle up baby

Advantages: Cosy and cute
I bought this footmuff along with the Maxi Cosi Mura travel system and thought it looked very snuggly indeed! It can also be used with the Loola travel system too.
A foot muff is basically a 'pocket' for your baby's legs to go in in the pushchair as you walk along. It is far more beneficial than a blanket as it is attached to the pushchair or the baby so it can't just be kicked off like a blanket can.
This footmuff is a full body one so it's quite similar to a snow suit really only it doesn't have arms and it is much, much bigger as it can accommodate a wide range of sizes of child!
It is fleecy lined so extremely warm inside and has a hood to pull up around your baby's face to help keep them warm. Unlike many other footmuffs this one has separate legs (others are just one big pocket). I think that this is better as it means your baby can be even more warm as there's more material around them. It also makes it easier to get your baby into it as well as you use it rather like a snow suit and then just put them into the pushchair. The only negative with having the legs like this is when you have a young baby and you're trying to get them to separate their legs into the separate trouser legs!
The suit zips up around the baby so that it's all cosy inside and there is plenty of space for your baby to move their arms and legs around.
I really like how this holds Hope all in place. Whenever I put her in her pushchair with a blanket over her legs she spends the whole time trying to kick it off. Likewise if she has socks on she will obsess over reaching down and pulling them off so I spend the entire walk picking up socks and trying to tuck blankets around her whilsts he is quite happy to have freezing cold toes! So this is great at making sure that Hope is warm, although it does take the fun away from her being able to play with her socks!
This is a very snuggly foot muff and I used it last year when Hope was 10 months old and again this year. She looked a little lost in it last year as she was so tiny but she did still fit in it so it does last a good while because she must have been 8 months old when I first put her in it and now she is 21 months and fits it much better now!
I think they're a great idea and I can't see why you can't use this with any other pushchair, we use it with our Silvercross as well as the Maxi Cosi, I think perhaps it is just branded by them so they try to recommend it for their own pushchairs but it is perfectly useable with others too.
We bought ours from Mothercare for around £60 this seems expensive but they do last a good few years and they do the job of about 3 blankets, a coat, a hat, socks and mittens! You can buy them new on Amazon marketplace for around £40 which I think is an absolute bargain!
Summary: Very cute and cosy
