A flexible travel system, but very heavy with the pushchair seat attached.

I bought this and all the extras (carrycot, car seat etc) as we wanted a proper travel system and on the basis of great Which? reports. At first we were very happy when using it as a travel system, the carrycot was great and very comfortable and the car seat was easily slotted on to the light and easy to put up and down chassis. Found it very easy to steer and manoeuvre, and the base fitted easily into the car.
My happiness decreased somewhat when my son outgrew the carrycot and we started to use the pushchair proper. With the pushchair seat attached, the whole buggy seems to weigh an absolute ton and is difficult to lift (impossible whilst holding a baby!) . It''s very bulky too.
I did really like the fact that it can face towards the parent as well as traditional forward facing and I used this a lot - great to chat with the little one whilst out shopping. The shopping basket was usually big enough for my needs and pretty easy to access. My husband liked the fact that the handle can be adjusted to suit the parent and this is great if you''re a short and tall couple like ourselves.
The raincover that comes with the pushchair affixes by means of a zip to the hood which is jolly awkward when caught in a rain shower, I''d much prefer a throw on type.
Also, with time the chassis became a little awkward to click in to place and putting it up/collapsing it is also a bit of an art.
Just to qualify my review slightly, we do live up a number of steps on a busy road and maybe my experience would have been more positive if I''d been able to roll it straight into the house.
