Advantages: Sturdy, easy to push, comfy for baby
Disadvantages: Not ideal for use on public transport, not much room for shopping
We bought this travel system when my son was due last year, and since he's been born we've been really pleased with it.
We bought the three wheel chassis, red seat unit and the maxi cosi cabriofix carseat that goes with it.
As a pram and a pushchair, the My3 is really easy to push. The large wheels mean that it runs well over uneven ground, and was fab in the recent snow! The movable front wheel means that it is easy to manouvre around corners and the foam covering of the single handle is comfortable to push.
One of the things that attracted us to the My3 was the fact that it could be a pram, a parent facing push chair and also a front facing push chair. My son is currently 9 weeks and has already progressed from the pram to the parent facing push chair and he just loves it! The cosy toes cover means that he stays nice and snug, but he is able to look around at his surroundings as well as look at me pushing him.
The My3 is easy to fold, and it fits well in the car boot, although it does take up quite a lot of space! The chassis and seat unit are both reasonably light when separated. However the My3 would not be ideal if you use public transport a lot as you do really need two hands to collapse it as it has to be taken apart to fold it down.
One downside of the My3 is the lack of space for shopping. There is a small space underneath, but that is it so it's not great if you're planning on doing a great deal of shopping. It is also a bit wider than many prams so can be a bit tricky to get through doorways, although we've not really had any problems with this so far.
Overall I think the My3 is great value for money and is a stylish, user friendly pram!
Summary: A great travel system
