The joy of parenthood not only what name shall we call our new child but what pushchair shall we push our little Angel around in and trust me the choice is seriously mind boggling from strollers to off road pushchairs there is as many features as when buying a car seriously there is a pushchair for every parent out there!
I had seen a friends Quinny Zapp and really liked that this pushchair can lie flat swivel to face you our as your child gets older away from you, I also liked that the Zapp folded up into a very compact size perfect for travelling and was easy to manage for one, I had defiantly decided to buy this pushchair until I saw the price!
Luckily my friend had finished with hers and so she gave it to me so I had the stroller I wanted but I found that with blankets wrapped around her my daughter still got cold and so I decided that I needed to get a cosy toes for her of course you have to get the Zapp version which costs a eye watering £55.00 from mother care however this is a cocoon for the Zapp.
What is it?
A cocoon which is padded and fleece lined, it also has a drawstring hood which allows you to alter the size and keep baby snug it also has zip opening so it is easy to get a sleeping baby out of without waking! Most importantly it is machine washable
Cost and stockist
The foot muff is available from all major baby retailers or Amazon and costs around £55.00 it is also available in different colours however I opted for the black one as this was the colour of my pushchair.
Why Buy
Obvious really to keep you precious child warm and snug and unlike blankets they cannot get unravelled and of course really cold My daughter was born in November and it really was a cold winter but I still needed to go and take the older one to Playgroup so we couldn't stay in the warm but had to go out once I had purchased this she was snug as a bug in a rug and far happier when we went out which allowed us to get out of the house far more!
I also found that this washed well and even when I accidentally washed on 60 in error didn't shrink and even in winter this dried quickly which of course is very important.
I also mentioned that the Quinny is expensive however having used one I would not hesitate to recommend it the quality of the product is excellent I have just passed mine on to my sister-in-law after 4 years of use and obviously my friend had the pushchair before me so they are built to last the muff is faded after being washed but still very useable and over the four years I would estimate I used it until my daughter was about 1 so for about 8 months going out every day at least twice a day costing about a 11p a day not bad!
Recommendation
I really am impressed by this product it kept my child warm and comfortable and was easy to use much better that the previous product I had for my eldest a really good carry cot for on the move.
