A good all-rounder (Silver Cross Pop)
Member Name: connors mama
Advantages: Lightweight, comfy and cosy, looks really stylish, folds small, washable covers Disadvantages: Not freestanding when folded, small basket Secure and sturdy feeling vehicle. Very easy to push around, nice and lightweight. Better seat size and handle height than most stroller-type pushchairs. Mine came with a footmuff included in the price - the footmuff is a bit 'stiff' like it would be better after a good wash, but the seat cover and footmuff are both handwash only. Raincover is good and it works, also included in the price. A good all round buy I think. My 1yr old son is delighted with it - the only thing I would change is to make it lie totally flat [as I believe newborns should be], though Silver Cross do say the Pop is suitable from birth I wouldn't put my newborn in there, but that's just my personal preference. I would wait until 6 months plus. Very handy storage pocket on the back of the hood, although it won't stand up on it's own when it's folded it does fold pretty compact. Fits easily into the boot of my Fiesta. The instructions do say not to use the Pop with a buggy board...But it's such a nice looking pushchair who cares?! Summary: Far more for your money than you'd get from a Maclaren |
