Advantages: Construction, weight
Disadvantages: Can't be used for newborns
I bought this pram for a friend of mine who's expecting her first baby, we decided to try and put it together and give it a trial run using her cat of all things!
I bought this pram for approximately 140GBP (I'm going to be the baby's godmother so I was happy to pay the price) and for the money it seems value for money. It was easy to put up and construct. The fabric is strong enough to endure the construction unlike some prams in which the fabric began to tore slightly after first use.
In total the pram took us around ten to fifteen minutes to construct and we didn't need to use the instructions (although we did see my friend's fiancee giving them a glance as he tried to put it together, call it a man's prerogative!)
The design of this pram is very sleek, not like the usual baby prams which means it'll be good for either a boy or a girl. However, this isn't a pram to be used for a newborn baby, as it can be seen in the picture it's for a more developed toddler (or cat!) and so would make a great second pram for when your baby grows up.
The pram can not only be easily put up but also easily put down as well, there have been countless times I've seen mum's waiting for the bus and struggling to put their prams down so they can board, that's not the case here. I gave it a few test runs and with a few simple movements the pram was down and can easily be carried.
The weight of this pram is very light, on the box it states that it's 7.2kg and it feels incredibly light, which I guess is a good thing if you're balancing a baby in the other arm.
I was given a warranty on this product in case it wasn't suitable but my friend loves it. As mentioned we were giving it practice runs with the cat, who has now taken up to curling up asleep in it! But whenever it's been tested it's never failed, the wheel balance is smooth and doesn't shake or go off course and the brake can be applied very easily to stop your stroller from escaping.
Overall, I'd recommend this to any parent, it does say you can use it from birth but I would use something more practical for a new born and use this when your son/daughter is a bit older.
