Silver Cross Pop
Advantages: nice looking,hood,cupholder
i read a few reviews before buyind and admittedly some were not great at all but i thought, its silvercross how bad can it be?! needless to say iv eaten my words as it is very disappointing. first off i would like to say that the good points are that the hood is nice and big and i like the peep hole and pocket and cupholder and the recline is simple, like the footrest thats adjustable and the designs are all lovely looking.but....
you cannot access shopping basket when seats reclined, now for me it wasnt a big issue but other people may want this feature so thought i would mention.
the seat is very shallow so my son looks kind of perched on a ledge? and not very comfy.
the footmuff is nice but hard to fasten around my little boys legs when hes in pram(hes not huge!)
the raincover is very easily kicked off and if the footrest is up then it doesnt cover my boys feet properly
the straps arent hugely long so in winter with a jacket its quite tight.
its def not flat enough when reclined to use for a newborn.
the frame seems flimsy,i had a £30 chicco buggy for a holiday and this seemed loads sturdier and was just as light. my frame is very wobbly and has already been sent to silvercross for them to fix it.
without a doubt the worst part is the wheels! i cant stress how disappointed i am with them. the back ones are terribly worn down already and the buggy is a little over a year old so obviously i expected it to last longer.they have also worn down at an angle so look awful and im worried as to how long they will last.silvercross will fix this but i have to pay and box the buggy and be without it for a week while they fix it,not good.
the front wheels are DANGEROUS. when you are going over uneven ground (just pavements! i do no 'off-roading'!) the wheels stick out sideways and stop you dead in your tracks! so iv had people walk into the back of me and also most worryingly the wheels do this at kirbs,so i have been stuck half on the road many times,INCREDIBLY UNSAFE!!!!
i have complained to silvercross but they seem to be fairly un - bothered!!! all i can say is do not waste your money on this product
Summary: dont bother
