Expensive gorgeous pram comfortable and easy to operate!!

This is a gorgeous pram but is on the expensive side the rrp is around £500, for that price you get:
      #the chassis
      #seat unit
      #cosy toes
      #raincover
      #sun parasol
      #seat liner
I'm not sure whether the lobster pot shopping basket comes in that price as I didn't buy my pram from a high street shop.
You can purchase extras for this pram such as a:
      #carry cot rrp £160
#lobster pot shopping basket rrp £30
#snug (like a sleeping bag..looks very cosy...this is my next purchase!) rrp £35
You can also fit a silver cross ventura car seat to the chassis or a maxi cosi car seat but you will need to buy maxi cosi car seat adapters rrp £25
This pram is gorgeous to look at and i am always recieving compliments, it is easy to put up and down however the chassis is compact and folds down small but the seat unit is big and bulky and dosn't fold down at all and takes up a lot of space in your boot. It took me a while to get the hang of folding down and remembering what to do! The instructions that come with this pram arn't very usefull and it took us a while to figure things out! To put the pram down you need to put the brake on, put the handle bar right down to the bottom (smallest height) but then you need to give it an extra push down then you can move the handle bar forwards, as soon as the handle bar is in a vertical position you need to push down on the red (unmissable!) foot lever then you can collapse the pram and lock it into position, this is easy to do once you get the hang of it an d you can do it one handed and to put it back up you just need to release the lock clip, hold the handle bar and flick the pram forwards and it's up as soon as you here the click (locking into place!). If you have the lobster pot shopping basket you need to remove this before putting the pram down ( the handle of the basket is what locks the shopping basket into place, up will release the basket, down locks it!).
I didn't buy the carrycot as the reviews I had read said that the seat unit with the newborn insert was good enough, some reviews complained about the insert but I think you need to fiddle a bit with the insert to get it into the right position then it is perfect :) . The newborn insert is well padded and is a fleecy material and very cosy. However I do think the carrycot looks lovely and if I had the extra money spare I would of bought it!!
The seat unit is forward or rearward facing and as of yet I have not used the seat unit so I cannot review on that yet but I will update this as soon as I begin using it.
There is a small shopping basket on the front of the pram however this is small and only fits the raincover so I did purchase the lobster pot shopping basket, which is smaller than I thought. If you need a large shopping basket then I would not reccomend this pram as storage space is minimal and I will have to buy some pram hooks to help with storage.
I bought the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat as the silver cross ventura didn't have good reviews. To fit the car seat to the chassis you need to buy the adaptors. The adaptors are labelled left and right and just slot on the chassis then you just slot the car seat. To release you need to push the red button in first (which will lock) then the black one and pull up the adaptors always stay on so you then need to release those by pushing the silver byttons on the car seat and pulling the adaptors off. I would like if the adaptors either stayed on the chassis or came off the car seat easier than having to pull them off! however i could be doing this wrong ....wouldn't be the first time lol!!
The description states that the pram has puncture free tyres which did atttract me as the quinny buzz which was another pram option didn't have pyncture free tyres.
There is a magnetic flap to lift up to have a peek at baby but this is more for when the baby is in the seat and facing away from you.
Unlike other prams I have had the raincover covers the whole of the pram, it is a bit awkward the first few times t put on but like other things I got the hang of it and can now whip it on quickly when it rains!
I think I'v wrote about everything about this pram so my personal opinion of this pram is:
Gorgeous pram which is lovely to push and easy to steer ( one handed aswell!!) easy to put down and upmy baby is always snug and looks comfortable.
