I was given lots of great advice from friends and family while potty training my daughter, potty training or leaving the house with a child without a nappy on can be rather stressful. A friend recommended that I buy the sunshine kids dry seat waterproof protector.

I hunted the web high and low as my friend couldn't remember where she bought hers from, I found one on ebay but it was second hand and I really wanted a new one for higine reasons. I found a new one on amazon. It cost £9.00 at the time over a year ago but I had a look and they are still selling them at present.

The sunshine kids dry seat waterproof protector is designed to keep your childs car seat dry from any little accidents while potty training. Its a padded cushion that slips on top of your childs car seat, it is slightly padded and is made from waterproof material. It has a small hole to slip the seatbelt harness clip through. It is a universal fit and fitted my Volkswagen childs car seat perfect.

It was black and grey in colour, that was the only choice in colour at the time I purchased but I did not mind as I only used it for 4 months until my daughter was completely potty trained. It was slightly padded and felt soft to touch and kept my daughter comfortable in her seat.

My daughter has a few accidents in the car mainly on long journeys, I found that it contained all the accident and never once leaked on to her car seat. If it did it would have ruined the seat as I could remover the cover to wash but would have been unable to wash the polystyrene.

The sunshine kid dry seat can be washed in the washing machine at 40 degrees wash. It can not be tumble dried its best to hang on the washing line or leave on a flat surface to allow it to reshape its self. I did always go back to its original shape and a good shake helped it as well.

It took the stress out of potty training and was one of many helpful aids. I used it also in my daughters buggy I did have good use out of it even for the short period of time I used it for as my daughter was quite quickly potty trained. I found it to be well worth the money and very cheap and useful to have and as any mother will know potty training is very stressful.
