Sunshine Kids Soft Wrap
Advantages: Easy to use, clean, price
Disadvantages: Not much of a choice of colour
The Sunshine Kids range is well known for making useful third party attachments for strollers, car seats and prams, and as I already owned a few Sunshine Kids items and know them to be good quality, this is what attracted me to the Sunshine Kids Soft Wrap set.
My daughter's stroller (iCandy Cherry) already had two soft wraps on the shoulder / chest area but I wanted a spare pair, as when she eats something like an apple or a rusk the wraps can get quite dirty and need to go in the washer. So I decided on buying a spare set and I bought the Sunshine Kids Soft Wrap set for just under £6 on Amazon including postage and packing.
The wraps are available in black or navy blue, I went for black as my stroller is black. I have a lightweight stroller, the Mamas and Papas Trek, which is a great stroller but doesn't have any wraps at all. I would have liked a greater choice of colours so I could get one to match my purple lightweight stroller but it's not a huge problem (I can understand why they don't sell them in white!)
So, the wraps come in a box, but they're obviously very simple indeed to use, you just rip the velcro open and place around the stroller straps, and then re-velcro them with the velcro facing inward (this might seem odd but my toddler would have those wraps straight off if she could access the velcro!). They provide a comfortable cushion between baby and strap meaning there is no pressure or chafing, making for a more comfortable car or buggy ride.
Once I took the Sunshine Kids Soft Wraps off the iCandy, I put them on the lightweight stroller just so they got used and didn't get lost. I think for the money it's worth having these in even if you only use them as spares whilst you wash the originals. But even if you use them for every day use they are well made, soft, easy to wash themselves (you can just throw them in the washing machine), and dry fairly quickly too (not in the tumble dryer, however).
Overall I'll give these four out of five stars, they're well made, reasonably priced, easy to use and clean, and can be used on most if not all buggy, car seat, stroller and even high chair straps. My only small criticism is that there isn't a range of colours to choose from but it's only a small niggle. Sunshine Kids has done it again :)
Summary: Worth it for a spare or for a replacement
