Great buggy, would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap lightweight stroller.

      Tippitoes stroller

I bought this stroller for my youngest son as a replacement for the double pushchair I had been using, as my eldest was walking everywhere. For a nearly 2 year old I only needed a cheap lightweight stroller so when I saw this for £36.99 on Amazon it seemed perfect.

I was mostly comparing this buggy to the ones I found in the Argos catalogue. It's more expensive than their cheapest ones but comes with a hood and a raincover, which the Argos ones do not and doesn't look as cheap. I also found that the handles on the Argos ones were not as tall and I'm nearly 6' so this was an important factor, I hate pushing a buggy while stooping!

The Tippitoes Stroller is kind of charcoal grey with a black trim and looks very smart. It looks a lot nicer in real life than it does in their pictures, so don't be put off. I bought this for a boy, they do a pink version if you want everyone to know you have a girl!

My favourite part of the design is the rain cover. Rather than covering the whole of the front of the buggy and going up over the hood, it is small and comes up just as far as the edge of the hood, where it fastens with a popper on each side. On the top edge of the rain cover there is a matching black and grey trim that forms a kind of lip over the hood so it fits perfectly and easily, while looking tidy.

This buggy can recline but not lay flat so is only suitable from 6 months old. The recline function is simply an adjustable strap that runs around the back of the seat and can be slightly loosened/tightened or unclipped completely which reclines it enough for a toddler to doze in.

The front wheels can either swivel or be locked in place. When in swivel position the stroller is easily manouverable (especially if you are used to a tandem pushchair!) and great for getting around narrow shop aisles. I am never sure why anyone would lock the wheels as it makes buggies really hard to steer.

The shopping basket/net is adequately sized and strong enough to bring home a large carton of millk and a few other groceries, or to stuff nappies and spare clothes in.

The 5 point harness is secure and easy to use, though as with most straps do be careful not to pinch your fingers in them - it hurts! You can undo the shoulder straps and have it as a 3 point harness, but my son just leans down and tries to play with the wheels if I do that!

This is an umbrella fold stroller and takes up very little room in the boot of your car, it even has a carry handle/strap at the back.

I would thoroughly recommend this stroller, it is sturdy and looks good, I have used it for the last 6 months with no problems and I have to say I am really pleased with it.
