Karcher High Pressure Washer

Well Spring is approaching and with it comes one of the big jobs of the year. We need to clean the slabs in the courtyard and at the front of the house and it is even more important this year as the house is up for sale! Over the winter the slabs at the back of the house in particular get very marked with bird droppings and general dirt and they also get quite slippery with that green slimy film that develops during the rain. Washing the car has to rate as one of the most tedious jobs around the house. Ironing pips it at the post, but finishing a strong second is washing the car. This really is a great gadget that every home should have, as it has so many uses. I purchased my first one actually a good few years ago, but when it packed up, and I contacted Karcher they advised me that it would be cheaper to buy an upgraded reconditioned model, rather than repair my old one. I therefore paid only £52, which was half price, and this was nearly two years ago. I knew I needed one and I was never sure which one to buy so this morning I came to dooyoo and read a few reviews. This afternoon I went and bought one. We chose the Karcher B 302 model as it comes complete with a trolley and many free accessories - a spray lance with double nozzle, a spray gun, a wash brush and a dirt blaster. The hose length is 7.5 metres which was ample to do our patio without having to drag the machine around very much. I don't own a Karcher pressure washer: but I know a man who does, and since it's my dad, I can borrow it whenever I go over to visit for a cup of tea. <g> My dad was in the tools and hardware business, so bought this some years ago, at trade prices, and it has seen a fair bit of use over the past 10 years, which is encouraging for those who have just purchased! The only hiccup has been the adjustable lance that you pull back to turn detergent suck on, or push out for high pressure.
