Advantages: Not too big and bulky.
Disadvantages: Poor performance, poor durability
I bought one of these two or three years ago. I thought that it would be handy for cleaning or using around the garden. I only anticipated needing a pressure washer for occasional use, and the Power Devil was a lot smaller in size than some of the other ones I looked at, so I chose it because it would take up less space in my shed.
The first of time I used it, the little devil seemed to work okay, and I was impressed with how well it got the mud out from under my car's wheel arches, but I noticed a strange smell and when I checked the casing it felt rather warm. This was a little worrying, but I had never owned a pressure washer before so I thought that it may be normal for it to get hot.
I didn't use it again for several months, but the second time was the last time. I was tired of looking at discoloured patio slabs and decided to give them a good hosing down. This took a little longer than it took me for the wheel arches. The plastic casing got so hot that it was becoming soft and the motor sounded like it was straining. I was determined to finish the last few slabs, so tried to persevere with it, but the motor packed up entirely. The Power Devil was a big disappointment. It was the cheapest pressure washer I looked at, it's just a petty that, in this case, my supposed bargain buy turned out to be cheap and nasty.
Summary: Not the most expensive pressure washer, but the Power Devil just isn't up to the job.
