This used to be a great site, with a wide range of book sites checked.

However, it now longer seems to be updated - the bestseller list shows 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' at the top of the list, and it cannot even find the latest book!

Thankfully, Bookkoob (www.bookkoob.co.uk), which offers a similar service, is still running.

Any student will tell you how long their reading lists are it does not matter that it is nearly the end of term in eight or so weeks. You still need to buy books. If you are in that position try this site out, it labels itself ?the smarter way too buy books? so be smart and visit the site. I can't fault the service that BookBrain provides since I know from my own research that online book shops change prices more often than I change my socks. But... (you knew that was coming didn't you!) If I want to buy a book I compare the prices before buying - I don't want a load of adverts, reviews and useless recommendations getting in the way. I know which book I want so I want to check the prices, find the cheapest and then get my order in. This site was recommended to me by a friend, now a best friend I might add. Bookbrain provide the most accurate and comprehensive price search of UK online bookshops on the web, and now they search 16 sites, not only 15! You may search by title, author, publisher or ISBN. Well, ofcourse they are going to find the mainstream bestsellers, but how about that obscure must-have book for my philosophy course published in 1986?? www.bookbrain.co.uk is not only a bookshop, but also a price comaprison site. However, as the name suggests, it only searches for books. It is a very useful site for booklovers. I have not used many comparison sites, but I found this one to be very easy. The information was presented in a clear manner, and I found the search facility to be very accurate.
