Advantages: Finds the cheapest new book for you.
Disadvantages: Does not search Justbooks.
I was a great fan of bookbrain.co.uk until three weeks age.
It provided valuable price comparisons of books, comparing Amazon.co.uk, Alphabetstreet, W.H.Smith online, and several other sites. Three weeks ago, I searched for "Kundalini: Psychosis or Transcendence" by Lee Sannella, and I was told it was unvailable. I then searched books.co.uk, which links to kelkoo.com. That showed it was available at Blackwells for the very reasonable price of £4.00. I went on to search Alphabetstreet, which had it for the same price.
From now on Bookbrain will be my 3rd choice for searching, after Kelkoo and Alphabetstreet.
UPDATE, 23/9/00
I think Boobrain has improved a lot in the past month. It is now my first choice when I search for books.
