What a brillaint idea a website that takes the hassle out of searching for the best deals on the internet by showing you cheapest places to shop.

Straight away there is flaw as you can only start price comparions for BOOKS, DVD/VIDEOS, GAMES, and MUSIC, which is all find and good but if you want to see where you can get the cheapest particluar lawn mower its not going to happen. So you are strictle limited to these areas.

For the rest of the shop areas like clothes and electronics you are just given a list of the shops that they think are the best. Which might mean not the cheapest.

Any way I was looking for the Alien Legacy boxset and i thought I would use it to find the best place to get it from, I had seen a price of £59.99 on the HMV, website so i expected to see that beaten.

I waited and the results that came up were surprising the cheapest was £69.99 a difference of £10. Why didn't it show that HMV were miles cheaper becuase they weren't one of the shops that shopsmart have listed. So if i had not seen the cheaper price elsewhere I would be £10 worse off.

So you don't really know if you are getting the best price which is disappointing.

The best is just to use it as a guide.
