There are activities such ... more  ... as "find the odd one out", but also mazes, colouring, fill in the gaps, dot to dots and a few stickers. Your child will need a pen and be at the age where they are starting to read to make the most of this book - the age guideline of 3+ is a bit optimistic, though a younger child could access some of the activities I would think a 6 or 7 year old would get most from this book.

Visits to relatives, particularly ones with not very child-friendly houses and a rather lively dog can be quite challenging for five year olds. Not much fun for their parents either, but all part of the rich tapestry of life. Our most recent memorable rain-filled day of "fun" was saved by this book which should be a must for all parents faced with long plane journeys or other potentially tedious events. 1000 activities is one of the newest titles by Priddy Books.
