30 Days of Night - Steve Niles

Premium Review When vampires attack... (434 words)

Rating:

the city is almost wiped out, with the few remaining trying to remain hidden and survive until sunlight comes back in 30 days time. This book is written by Steve Niles who is a well established horror comic writer, haven adapted I am Legend from novel to comic, as well as other titles. 28 Days Later: The Aftermath - Steve Niles

Premium Review 28 days later the untold stories (376 words)
by daemonicragnorak - written on 15/05/09 (Very useful, 14 readings)
Rating:

Aftermath is split into four sections named after what phase the story is in (Development, Outbreak, Decimation and Quarantine) and is written by the creator of 30 days of night, Steve Niles. Unlike the films the books isn t big on the horror instead concentrates on the story telling; which is a shame as the fans of the films would be expecting the book to have horror throughout it, but in reality the addition of horror to these stories would only lessen them. The first three chapters are very straight forward in which the reader will be able to guess what s coming quite easily; however it is the fourth and final chapter that makes this book actually worth a read. I m ...
