Life Swap - Jane Green ... years ago I fell in love with a Jane Green book called Mr Maybe. It was funny, the characters were great, the story was well written, and the hero sounded pretty damn lovely. Ever since I ve continued picking up Jane Green books in the hope that one would match Mr Maybe, but none did. The latest attempt was Life Swap. Life Swap tells the story of single 35 year old Vicky Townsley, Features Editor of a women s glossy who lives in London with her cat. She yearns for married life, believing the grass is greener. My First Farm Touch and Feel - Anne Millard ... babies love farm animals and what better way to teach them about farm animals than with, My First Farm Animals soft activity book. I think this is a perfect starter book for babies and one I like to buy as gifts for my friends as well as getting one for my upcoming arrival. The book is from Mothercare as I think they do an excellent range of toys/books that are not only educational but fun as well and good quality. The book, like it says above, is soft so it s made of fabric. It is held together at the spine with a latch which makes it really easy to turn the pages, especially easy for little fingers. On each page we are introduced to a new farm animal, these being ... Read the full review: Old MacDonald Had a Farm by Whizz11 |

Relentless - Simon Kernick ... a fast-paced action packed thriller definately; a literary marvel? Perhaps not. Although the writing may not be amazing, the plot and narrative admittedly does draw you in and you become involved in the characters and their fight for survival. It reads easily, perfect for bed-time reading when you want an exciting book, and yet feel too tired to fully concentrate on something literary and thought evoking. There are no revelations in this book, but this is perhaps what is so good about it as though it is simple, it is so enticing, and leaves you unable to put it down! I have read many of Simon Kernick s novels which proceed Relentless in the hope of finding... Read the full review: Relentless... a fast-paced action packed thriller definately; a literary marvel?
