Gordon Ramsay's Fast Food: Recipes from The F Word:
... used to watch the F word alot on TV and really liked some of the recipes cooked on the series so I was bought this book as a present and I have really enjoyed the book so far. The recipes in the book are really good, they are easy to follow and they are all quick to make, which is the point of the book and the point Gordon Ramsay was trying to get across in the F word. I have tried out quite a few and have liked t... Read the full review: It really is fast food. by Lizpick |

Jamie's America - Jamie Oliver ... was with happiness that I bought my Jamie s America at Waterstones for £10.00 on the very day the premier of Jamie Olivers brand new series was due to be aired! So I sat (sad I know) with my beautiful new book and a note book (its just me and my note taking during cookery programs) .......Oh how disappointed I was with the first program. There was absolutly not cooking at all! It was basically Jamie Oliver with ex cons and gangster Mexicans calling them Bruv......hmmmmm. After Jamie at Home and pottering in his Essex kitchen garden, it felt like a bit of a slap to me. I am not however reviewing the accompanying Channel 4 TV show, but the book. I have many Jamie ... The Accidental Vegetarian - Simon Rimmer ... like this recipe book very much and have used it a fair bit. Simon Rimmer, for anyone who doesn t know, bought a vegetarian cafe, Greens, in 1990 and was neither a vegetarian nor a chef. He learnt as he went along and incorporated flavours and cooking styles from around the world in his personal quest to make unusual and interesting veggie food. This book is a nice solid hardback with lots of bright colours and some vivid photography of many of the dishes. The contents are divided into: Introduction (this is very brief) Dips and Morsels Salads Small Platefuls Big Platefuls Side Dishes Puddings The recipes are laid out in what I find to be a clear and concise step...
