The Adventures of Tintin: Tintin and the Picaros - Herge:

Superman/Batman: Search for Kryptonite - Michael Green ... and Batman have had something of a chequered history both in their relationship and the quality of the comics where they have teamed up. The titles in the latest series have suffered the same fate: some have been excellent and some mediocre. This one is quite simply the best to date. Any attempt at a plot summary for this title, actually makes it sound fairly bland. Fed up of being threatened by Kryptonite (the only substance which can harm him), Superman enlists the help of Batman to rid Earth of every last scrap of it. This seemingly simple mission becomes increasingly dangerous as they uncover some disturbing secrets that will rock The Man of Steel s view of ... GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka: v. 1 - Fujisawa Tohru ... feel good factor from stories that are about teachers who make a real impact on their students lives, nothing quite like it, eh? Back in 1957 we famously got Sidney Poitier in To Sir With Love. He took a class of society rejects who caused numerous other teachers to resign and turned their lives around with lessons about respect and discipline. Superman: For Tomorrow, Volume 1 - Brian Azzarello ... his introduction to this dark and thoughtful issue, Brian Azzarello describes how honoured and excited he was to be asked to write Superman. Having been an author of Batman Hush before, he had involved Superman when the two characters met up, albeit in rather violent circumstances. Now, however, with the pressure on to create a dark and moved and guilt-ridden Superman, Azzarello manages to give us a very morbid and morose feel to the proceedings, with the superhero feeling very down after the events of the previous episodes. Chronicling episodes 204-209 of Superman, it deals with the worldwide emotions after hundreds of thousands of people have just vanished. Superma...
