Ultimate Fantastic Four Volume 3: N-Zone - Warren Ellis ... 3 of Ultimate Fantastic Four, I have to admit, was rather a disappointment for me. I am a Marvel fan, having enjoyed the whole superhero thing since I was a kid. However, whereas most comics such as X-Men and Avengers and Spider-Man tend to combine action with explanation, I found this volume made the two rather different. It comprises of issues 13 to 18, and my main disappointment comes in the first 3 of these. As an adult with a fairly decent grasp of basic science, I found it a real struggle to see where they were going with the N-Zone featured in the title, with speech bubbles occupying large parts of the screen, the only respite being the funny one-liners fro... The DC Comics Encyclopedia - Scott Beatty ... DC Comics Encyclopedia does exactly what it says on the tin, providing a comprehensive guide to the DC Universe of over 1,000 heroes and villains from the early days of comics through to early 2004. Each page has such attention to detail that it drips with love and devotion, with every page containing some fascinating information. The book is logically laid out in A-Z format (and further arranged chronologically within that). This makes it but a moment s wo... Read the full review: A, B, DC by SWSt |

Absolute Boyfriend: v. 1 - Yuu Watase ... first love. Most people can identify with feelings of angst over easing one s loneliness by searching for that special someone. It is even more bittersweet when you lack experience, and not quite sure how one goes about getting a "someone". For 16 year old Riiko Izawa, her love troubles seem insurmountable. She is shy, a bit flat chested, and doesn t really know how to approach a boy as evidenced by the sad fact that every single guy she has asked out has flatly rejected her! One day while out and about, she chances upon a lost mobile phone, and going through its menu, manages to locate its owner. Agreeing to meet up in order to return the phone, she is rath...
