Calvin and Hobbes Comics in general: ... and Hobbes is my favourite cartoon and I recommend it to everyone! It is the mind and the result of Bill Watterson and you can find it in many newspapers, I normally read it on Herald Tribune in Hotels , when I travel. Calvin is a 6 years old, and I do not know one person who would not like to have child like him! Hobbes is a stuffed tiger, but when Calvin is with the toy, it comes alive. Calvin s mother ...

hogsflesh League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Black Dossier - Alan Moore
... is a graphic novel written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Kevin O Neill, two alumni of British sci fi comic 2000AD who have since gone on to bigger and better things (Moore especially - he s probably the most acclaimed comic-book writer in the world). It s published by DC, one of the two big mainstream comic companies in America. It s the third volume in an ongoing saga; you probably need to have read the first two to completely appreciate this. In superhero comics you often get stories about superheroes ganging up to tackle problems too big for them to handle alone. Unfortunately there are a few problems with this second volume.(collecting issues 88-93 of Daredevil) It opens with a one shot that doesn t feature Daredevil, but his one time partner Foggy, thought to be dead at the end of the last volume. Daredevil has fled the country in the wake of all the fracas in the last volume and Foggy is wondering what has happened to him. Although this issue contains the rquisite ninja action to keep anyone amused, it feels a little like filler rather than the satirical fun of, say Miller s Foggy stories. The main Daredevil action itself is a little disappointing too - Daredevil...
